    Correct. They're microwave horn antennas with direct-coupled magnetrons (no waveguide included). Since he has two, they likely came from somebody's local 2-way datacomm app.

    My old Whirlpool Microwave doesn't have an antenna........ if I add these will my food re-heat faster?

    Correct. It has an unterminated waveguide for broad distribution at close range. You might call it a "nearfield" application...
